Police Steps Up Efforts to Tackle Illegal Parking in Male’ City
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has revamped efforts to tow vehicles parked illegally on busy roads of Male’ City.
The police announced that vehicles parked illegally on major roads such as Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Ameenee Magu, Majeedhee Magu, Orchid Magu, Ameer Ahmed Magu, and Sosun Magu which cause disruption to both general transport and public transport will be towed.
Vehicles are typically park illegally on both sides of busy Male’ City roads, causing obstruction to pedestrians and other road users. The police said it receives public support in their efforts to ensure the safety and security of Male’ City roads, and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support in these efforts.
