Minister Hails President Muizzu as “Only Leader who Dared to Probe Gov’t Corruption”
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu is the only sitting President who dared to investigate corruption allegations within the government, Minister of Fisheries Marine Resources and Agriculture Ahmed Shiyam said Thursday.
In a post shared on social media, the Minister said that no president has dared to take immediate action against alleged corruption and abuse of power within the government while in office.
Hence, from the first day of office, President Muizzu has set a new benchmark against corruption and abuse of power, Shiyam said.
The Minister assured the people that President Muizzu will “walk the talk” when it comes to government corruption and put his words into decisive action.
He added that the President would not tolerate corruption within his administration and will take immediate action against any government official found guilty of doing so.
