Foreign Minister reaffirms Maldives’ support for Palestinian independence

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, has reaffirmed the Maldives’ steadfast support for the Palestinian people’s legitimate pursuit of independence and self-determination. His remarks were conveyed in a message of congratulations to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine. In his message, the Maldivian Minister reiterated that the Maldives remains fully committed to supporting the Palestinian cause. He emphasized the nation’s enduring dedication to strengthening the bonds of solidarity and brotherhood between the two countries. Minister Khaleel further expressed his eagerness to continue working closely with the Palestinian Prime Minister to advance the just cause of Palestine on the international stage. On behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives, he extended his best wishes to the Prime Minister, the Government, and the people of Palestine on the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine.
