“Train the Trainer” programme commences

The “Train the Trainer” Programme for Managers and Supervisors of Service Centres was launched on Tuesday. The three-day programme, scheduled to run from September 24 to 26, is being held online.

This programme is being held as part of the Government Services Workstream activated under the “Government Experience Exchange Programme (GEEP),” initiated through the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Republic of Maldives. This MoU enables Maldivian Government officials to participate in experience exchange programmes focused on government development and modernisation.

The programme aims to enhance customer service initiatives of government agencies. Similar to the first programme, this programme is directed at civil servants and is organised in collaboration with the President’s Office and the Civil Service Commission’s Civil Services Training Institute.
A total of 35 officials from various Government Agencies will participate in this programme.
