
Rasmaadhoo Council Urges Action on Pressing Issues in Meeting with President
Rasmaadhoo Council of Raa Atoll has urged President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to address the island’s pressing developmental needs, calling for the expedited completion of the island’s key projects. The request was made during a meeting held as part of the President’s ongoing visit to several islands of Raa Atoll.
During the meeting, the Council highlighted the island’s need for solutions for housing issues, the establishment of a drainage system in flood-prone areas, as well as measures to protect eroding areas and safeguarding the beach access area. Additionally, the Council requested expedited completion of the new building construction at Rasmaadhoo School.
During the meeting, the President shared updates on the highlighted issues through the attending Ministers.
