Parliament Approves Dhahaa Shu’aib as MIRA Board Member
The Parliament has unanimously approved the appointment of Dhahaa Shu’aib as a board member of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
Dhahaa was approved for the post with 69 members supporting her appointment. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Bangalore University in India, and has held several positions at the central bank, the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), where she currently serves as an economist in the Monetary and Exchange Rate Policy Division.
Dhahaa will succeed Makhzoom Saleem on the MIRA board following the conclusion of his term.
