MTCC awarded to reclaim land for Guraidhoo Airport Development
The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded the contract to reclaim the land required for the development of an airport in Guraidhoo, Kaafu Atoll. The agreement was signed by the Minister of State for Housing, Land and Urban Development, Ibrahim Tho’am Mohamed, and MTCC Managing Director, DCP (Retd) Ahmed Saudhee. As per the agreement, MTCC will undertake the reclamation of land for the airport and implement protective measures for the reclaimed area. The development of an airport in Guraidhoo is a key presidential pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
