
MPL CEO Wajeeh Dismissed from Post
Maldives Ports Limited (MPL)’s CEO Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim has been dismissed from his position.
The Privatisation and Corporotisation Board (PCB), the governing body overseeing state-owned companies, confirmed Wajeeh’s removal, stating that he had been dismissed both as Managing Director and as a member of the company’s board.
Wajeeh was appointed as MPL’s CEO in November 2023. Before this, he held senior positions at MPL from 2013 to 2022.
