
MNU Partners with Thailand’s Mahidol University to Advance Scientific Research
The Maldives National University (MNU) and Mahidol University of Thailand have signed an agreement to conduct scientific research.
Under the agreement, the two universities will conduct research on national and international issues.
The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor Dr Aishath Shehenaz Adam and Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr Raheema Abdul Raheem on behalf of MNU. The agreement was signed on behalf of Mahidol University by its President Piyamitr Sritara and Associate Professor Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti.
According to MNU, the agreement will be beneficial to the faculty’s staff and students, and will allow for both universities to collaborate and conduct extensive research. The initiative demonstrates the importance given by MNU and Mahidol University to provide solutions through research, the university said.
The national university continues to sign agreements with various agencies and institutions to conduct research and training in different sectors. The university also conducts various researches in areas important to the Maldives.
