Maldives, Saudi Arabia Forge Closer Ties Through Strategic Immigration Talks
The Maldives and Saudi Arabia have addressed key topics such as information exchange, intelligence sharing, capacity building, and training within the immigration sector during a series of high-level discussions. These talks took place during the visit of Mohamed Shamaan Waheed, the Maldives’ Controller General of Immigration, to Saudi Arabia.
Currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of Saleh Bin Saad Al-Murbe, the head of the Saudi Arabian General Directorate of Passports, Waheed engaged in extensive deliberations with Al-Murbe. Additionally, Waheed conferred with various other officials from the Saudi Arabian government.
