
Maldives and Estonia Sign Agreement to Strengthen Political Dialogue and Cooperation
The Maldives and Estonia have signed an agreement aimed at enhancing political consultations and fostering closer diplomatic ties.
The agreement establishes a framework for open and sustained dialogue between Maldives and Estonia, with discussions focusing on regional and international issues of mutual interest. It also promotes collaboration between their permanent missions and embassies across the world. Additionally, it will also allow for the establishment of joint working groups to address matters of mutual interest.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Maldives by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel. The Foreign Ministry believes the agreement will further enhance the diplomatic ties between both countries.
Maldives and Estonia established diplomatic ties on 22 March 1994.
