Islamic Minister inaugurates Vilimale’ Outreach Centre, to conduct Quran classes

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has inaugurated the Vilimale’ Outreach Centre, to conduct Quran classes run by the National Centre for Holy Quran. The centre was established in joint collaboration between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Male’ City Council. The practical works of the development of the centre were undertaken by Male’ City Council. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister Dr. Shaheem stated that the development of the centre would greatly contribute to improving the quality of life for Vilimale’ residents. He described it as a significant advancement in line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s vision to spread the knowledge of the Holy Quran. The minister affirmed that the centre would operate without adhering to any particular ideological stance. The current administration is committed to facilitate arrangements to ensure proper recitation of the Holy Quran in all islands, with a focus on nurturing a love for the Holy Quran among children. To achieve this goal, President Dr. Muizzu announced plans to increase the number of Quran classes operating free of charge, and expand the services nationwide.
