Fuwad Thowfeek Appointed Maldivian Ambassador to Thailand
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Fuwad Thowfeek as the Maldivian ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand. The appointment was made on Monday, with President Dr Muizzu presenting Thowfeek with his credentials during a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
Thaufeeq brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to this appointment, he served as ambassador-at-large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Thaufeeq has also held the position of Chairman of the Elections Commission.
