
Estonian President Officially Welcomes President Muizzu
President of Estonia, Dr Alar Karis, has formally welcomed President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and his delegation during their official visit to Estonia, made at the invitation of the Estonian President. The ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace at Kadriorg.
The Estonian military played the national anthems of both countries during the event. Afterwards, President Dr Muizzu and President Dr Karis inspected the Guard of Honour.
During the ceremony, President Dr Muizzu was greeted by and introduced to dignitaries from Estonia, followed by the introduction of Maldivian dignitaries to President Dr Karis. The Presidents then posed for a commemorative photo following which President Dr Muizzu signed the Visitor’s Book at the Palace.
President Dr Muizzu’s visit to Estonia will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities in digital technology, cybersecurity, e-governance, climate issues, and education between the Maldives and Estonia.
