Court to Officiate Weddings Everyday, Including Weekends Next Year
Family Court on Sunday announced its decision to officiate weddings even on the weekends starting next year.
The Family Court said it will officiate weddings on all days next year, including weekends.
In consideration of multiple public requests, the court has decided to lift the exception on weekends from next year.
According to the Family Court, weddings will be officiated on Fridays from 3PM till 9:30PM while Saturday’s timings would be from 10AM till 9:30PM.
In addition, court marriages will be held between 9am till 9:30 pm on weekdays. The timings to officiate weddings, outside of court, would be between 3PM until 9:30PM.
Special requests like officiate weddings on resorts and safaris will be based on individual requests, the Family Court said
The timings to officiate weddings during the upcoming Holy month of Ramadan will be announced later, the court added.
