Passports can now be collected in Kudahuvadhoo

Maldives Immigration has facilitated the opportunity to collect passports from Kudahuvadhoo, Dhaalu Atoll, which are submitted via the online platform, “Imuga”.

In a social media passport, Maldives Immigration stated that passports can now be collected from Kudahuvadhoo. As such, Immigration said that individual who wish to collect their respective passport on the island, must select Kudahuvadhoo as the passport collection location. Passport collection will be available every Monday. This is a great convenience for those residing in Kudahuvadhoo and nearby islands, as they previously had to travel to Male’ City for passport collection.

On November 16, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu launched the nationwide project to expand the delivery of national identity cards and passports. This project is scheduled to be completed next year.

Passport collection services are currently offered in Male’ City and Dhidhdhoo in Haa Alif Atoll. Decisions have also been made to launch these services in Fonadhoo, Laamu Atoll this year.
