Applications reopened for Maldives Broadcasting Commission membership
The President’s Office has reopened applications for two vacant positions on the Maldives Broadcasting Commission. This announcement supersedes the previous notice issued on November 18, 2024, regarding applications for commission membership.
The application period will remain open until December 9, 2024, at 1200 hrs. Applications will be accepted at the President’s Office on official working days from 0800 hrs to 1200 hrs during this period.
Application forms for the Broadcasting Commission membership are available at the President’s Office reception and can also be downloaded from the President’s Office website.
The reopening of nominations follows the expiration of the terms of the President of the Broadcasting Commission Mariyam Waheedha and Commission Member Ali Yoosuf. Both were appointed to the commission on December 5, 2019, and their five-year terms are set to end on December 5, 2024.
